Benefits of Membership:
National OD Network- As an active member of SAAOD, members are entitled to a discount on their membership fee with the National OD Network.

Guest Speakers- The SAAOD provides an opportunity to learn from and interact with OD Professionals at our monthly meetings and special events. The subjects selected touch on all aspects of the field of OD.

Website - Our website is designed as an electronic forum. Its available to our local members and to the OD community at large. Along with meeting notices, special events and opportunities, our website forum will be a place where “What We Know” about OD and “What We Need To Know” can be posed, organized, debated, shared and posted. The website and its capabilities as a common communication touch point for what is happening in our professional community will, like the agora of the Greek cities in the Classic Age, become the place where one can share the new while honoring the tried and true of our profession.

Membership Directory- Its primary use will be to assist the SAAOD in keeping track of members’ capabilities and offerings so that, should an inquiry be made for obtaining specific services, the appropriate referrals can be made. Secondarily, the Directory will be used as the current source of contact information so that members can be alerted by email of special events, meeting details and other information of interest.

Job Hotline- SAAOD website provides an always available repository of employment/ engagement opportunities as well as short term or internship opportunities as they arise.

Partnerships-SAAOD believes in partnering with other groups that are actively involved in or allied to Organizational Development. We seek believe in joint collaboration and partnerships.

SAODC Volunteer Opportunities- What better way to meet new colleagues, raise your profile in the local community and give something back. Mentor a student, assist with program development, welcome new members, provide topical pieces for the monthly newsletter, provide your favorite ‘tool’ for the on-line OD Toolkit or ALL OF THE ABOVE. Get involved.
